Sat 5/3 A Celebration of 70 years of Catholic Camping Camp Marymount invites you to attend A Celebration of 70 years of Catholic Camping.

The event showcasing the camp's brand new retreat center, will be held Satur- day, May 3, 2008.  Individual tickets are $75 and a table of eight can be purchased for $600.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.

The evening will feature spectacular food provided by Cooper Kettle, entertainment, and a good ole' fashioned bonfire.

Sun 5/4 10th Annual Hook & Cook Camp Marymount The 10th Annual Hook & Cook, family fish fry and fishing rodeo, benefiting Camp Marymount, will be held Sunday, May 4.

The event features an all-you-can-eat catfish dinner, wagon rides and a fishing rodeo for youth 16 and under.

Fri 5/9-16 Men's Retreat The Gethsemani Trappist Abbey
Trappist, Kentucky
The Gethsemani Trappist Abbey in Trappist, Kentucky (home of the late Thomas Merton) will be hosting free Live-in Vocational retreats soon.  Work and pray with the monks on their 2000-acre farm and hear the vocational talks.

There is no cost but space is limited.  Dates include May 9-16, June 2-9, and July 4-11.  Weekend dates are also available.

Wed 5/23 6:30pm "Becoming Good Stewards of God's Earth" presentation The Cathedral of the Incarnation, Fleming Center Presentation sponsored by the Association of Peace and Justice Com- mittees.  As Christians, we are called to take responsibility for the great gift God has provided for us by giving us a place to live, work, grow, and flourish.

Come and hear this presentation by Neil Parrish, who will help us determine what we can do to pre-serve this gift for future generations.

Sun 5/25 Last day to register for VCS Vacation Church School (VCS) will be held June 9 - 13, 2008.  For planning purposes, please register by May 25.

VCS is for children ages 3 (by 9/30/07) through 5th grade. Volunteers needed for VCS!  We invite you to pray about where your hands, heart, and voice would be best used in helping to build God's Kingdom through VCS.

Help is needed with games, teachers, assistant teachers, snacks, crafts, science center and decorations.
