St. Philip is a supporting member of the Pastoral member of the Pastoral Counseling Center of Franklin.  The Center provides an extension of the church's pastoral care and skills by offering psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and families from a pastoral perspective.  People who seek help at the Center struggle with varied life experiences and situations including:

• Marriage and family problems
• Domestic violence and sexual abuse
• Coping with loss and grief
• Difficulties related to school, job and social life
• Personal struggles with anxiety; depression & self-esteem
• Spiritual meaning and direction
• Dilemmas of aging, parenting and stepfamily life.
• Personality disorders

Fees for counseling are charged on the basis of people's ability to pay, and no one is turned away because of inability to pay the cost of counseling. Our church's local mission giving makes this important service possible.

Today, we give thanks to God for the services of the Center and celebrate our partnership in this mission with sister churches in Franklin.
